Explore ENZAN STAYS

From Tokyo to wine country.

Koshu is in Yamanashi Prefecture, west of Tokyo. For Enzan, the usual rail approach is the JR Chuo Line from Shinjuku.

Shinjuku → Enzan
About 90 minutes by limited express

Check your selected train's stops and current timetable. Not every service stops at the same stations. The journey from the station to your accommodation is separate.

Know your destination.

ENZAN and ENZAN STAYS are separate properties. HIKAWA is in a different area. Use the map and parking directions for the property you actually booked.

For ENZAN, search for Vineyard Vista ENZAN. The address is 139-2 Enzan Shimoozo, Koshu, Yamanashi.

Plan the return trip, too.

If you plan to taste wine, arrange transport that does not involve driving. Check distances, public transport and taxi arrangements before setting out.

Booking, step by step.

ENZAN and HIKAWA bookings open on AirHost. Its available language is currently Japanese. The English pages here explain the stays; the booking page shows live prices and conditions. Japanese yen (JPY / ¥) is the default currency; check the currency shown before confirming.

  1. Choose the correct property. ENZAN is a private-room guesthouse; HIKAWA is a whole-house booking.
  2. Select arrival and departure dates, then enter everyone in your group, including children where requested.
  3. Check the room, bedding, maximum occupancy, total price and cancellation conditions before confirming.

A few things to arrange before arrival.

Arrival & access

  • ENZAN: check-in from 16:00 and check-out by 11:00, Japan time. Read your self-check-in instructions before arrival.
  • For HIKAWA and ENZAN STAYS, use the times and entry instructions in your booking confirmation.
  • If you need luggage storage, early arrival or late check-out, ask in advance. These are not automatically included.
  • Need to avoid stairs, or have specific access requirements? Tell us before booking so we can confirm the room and layout.

Food, parking & facilities

  • Photographs of meals, wine and coffee show ways to enjoy a stay. They do not mean food or drinks are included in your rate.
  • At ENZAN, cooking equipment may require advance arrangements. Check what is available before planning a meal.
  • ENZAN parking is separate from the house and may carry a charge. Confirm a space, price and directions in advance.
  • Check the house guidance before using BBQ or outdoor facilities. Keep voices low in the evening and respect neighbouring homes.

Useful answers.

What are tatami, futon and engawa?

Tatami is traditional Japanese floor matting. A futon is bedding laid out on the floor for sleep, rather than a raised bed. An engawa is the veranda-like space along the edge of a Japanese house. Check the room photos and bedding description to choose what feels comfortable for you.

Is this a hotel with a staffed reception?

Arrival arrangements vary by property. ENZAN uses self-check-in instructions sent after booking. Do not assume you can arrive early or leave bags at a reception desk without arranging it first.

Can I reserve a wine tour or an event here?

The stories are ideas for your stay, not bookable packages. News and event samples are labelled in this English preview. Contact each winery directly for current opening hours, tastings, tour availability, languages and reservations.

How can I ask about my booking?

For an existing reservation, use the contact or message link in your booking confirmation. For a new enquiry, email us with the property, dates, number of adults and children, and any particular requirements. You can write in English.

Before you book

Ask us about your stay.
